Get ready for MxCC’s version of “March Madness,” our
very own BOWLATHON!
Come join us on on March 27, 2010
at 1:30 at
Wallingford Bowl,
980 N. Colony Rd., Rt. 5 (just off exit 66 of W. Cross Pkwy),
Wallingford, CT
Format:
A team event, 4 bowlers per team;
each bowler on each team bowls 2 games.
Departments, offices, sponsors,
companies, etc. may enter more than one 4-person team; groups of
individuals may also form 4-person teams; teams may be mixed
(on- and off-campus)
Fundraising:
Each
bowler
must raise a minimum of $30 in order to bowl, or $120 minimum
per team. Team should be registered and funds collected and
turned in one week prior to the event or earlier; please use
attached PLEDGE FORM. Contributions from non-bowlers also
welcome.
Purpose:
Net proceeds will support co-curricular
student programs and MxCC Foundation projects at Middlesex
Community College
Campus Team Trophy:
A campus traveling trophy will be awarded to the top
scoring team representing a campus dept. or office (at least 2
of the 4 team members must be students, faculty, staff or
retirees at MxCC); the winning office gets campus bragging
rights (and the trophy!) for one year; if the same dept. wins
the trophy two years in a row, the trophy is “retired” to that
office/dept. and a new trophy is created the following year
Individual Trophies:
1.
Awarded to
overall
team champions (awarded to each member of the top scoring team)
2.
Awarded
to each member of the top fundraising team
