MxCC $cholarship 5K Race

The ninth annual MxCC Foundation $cholarship 5K road race is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011 at Middlesex Community College in Middletown.  The race starts at 10 a.m.

The course is a scenic out-and-back route with small rolling hills and a downhill finish in the reservoir area near the MxCC campus at 100 Training Hill Rd.  Race T-Shirts are provided to all registrants.

Entertainment for runners and friends will again be provided by the Pratt & Whitney Screamin’ Eagles Jazz Band, which has delighted the 5K crowds for the past two years.  An awards ceremony with light food and refreshments follows directly after the race.
